This place is just Magic !!! It is not only about fasting or losing weight … It is a new chance “to restart” your body. It is a present for your body and for your brain, or if you want … for your GUT … as they are so much related (The brain … the gut and your health …) Here you have the possibility “to invest” in your body before being too late … or … if you have unfortunately Health issues … you can have maybe a chance to feel better. Fasting Therapy and the capacity of fasting to help your body to recover it is not something new … Here, the quality of this therapy it is just pushed at a new level. All the team is fantastic … and it is not a small team … Many thanks for all the beautiful people from Buchinger Marbella who have helped us every year to feel better. (25/02/2022)

Me and my familly have been going to buchinger for many years, often staying for periods of three weeks or more. I can not warn you of this place enough. The treatment I received at both their locations was horrific and borderline racist. The way the staff spoke to us was unbelievable often times rasing their voices and calling us liars. After paying such high prices this is not the service one expects. Additionally after 3 weeks of fasting I only lost 5 kg and my cousin only 3. Also beware if booking during these times. My mother got covid and they were refusing to move out booking forward. We then asked for the deposit to be refunded as they mentioned if someone tests positive they can get a refund. They made a huge fuss and eventually accepted. Two weeks later we receive an email saying they won’t accept any more reservations. Honestly not worth it they have not concept of customer loyalty. I’d recommend shantisom in Marbella or the Marbella club if your looking for a detox. Very disappointing!

Since 2002 I've been to Clinica Buchinger 5 times. The first two times (2002, 2010) were 14 days fasts and the last three times, (2019, 2021 and 2022) 21 day fasts. The Buchinger program and team have been an important component of my ability to improve my health. The clinic, though in a great setting with sone lovely facilities, is a clinic, where every action, support therapy, nutrition component and facility, is designed to support fasting through the Buchinger method. A method research continues to validate. Yes, weight loss is a by product of fasting, but my experience reflects it is so much more for those it works. Mind, body and spirit renewal and reset. I'm very grateful to the Buchinger team for their professionalism, from the receptionists to medical professionals to therapists of every type. Is Buchinger for everyone? No. It's for those that recognize and hope to reset and improve their health through a fasting model rooted in western medical supervision and best practices from health modalities from all over the world. And it goes without saying Marbella and the Costa del Sol is a beautiful setting to fast.

A unique spiritual and fasting Spa that I have visited many times with wonderful results. On a hillside overlooking the beaches of Marbella, sits this Spanish villa whose method is based on renowned Dr. Otto Buchinger's books and methods. A place to detox and disconnect, cleanse your body, rest and regain your health. It counts with a great team of doctors following your progress daily. You will be astounded at the holistic practices we don't see in the West. Buildings surround beautiful gardens and pools with spectacular views. Results of the fasting is impressive weight loss, while practicing real yoga, meditation, walks on the beach, colonics, fasting, classes, disconnecting with computers, cells and stress. A great camaraderie is formed with the cosmopolitan clientèle, superb ambiance, a unique arts and music component with concerts and performers. Highly recommended for those interested in a sejour that combines a world hotspot with a healthy twist where you cleanse your body from all accumulated toxins. Rid your body of disease, diabetes, blood pressure, watch ailments disappear. Recommended stay 7-21 days. Fabulous and unique, a different memorable spa.

This was a great experience and I felt surprisingly energised during the 9 day fast (the “lite” option in a 14 day stay). The service is excellent all round, and the pre and post-fasting food (ovo-lacto/veg) delicious

OVERRATED - THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM - IF YOU GOT THERE IN PERFECT SHAPE THEN DURING OR AT THE END OF YOUR STAY YOU HAVE A HEALTH PROBLEM OR OPPOSITE OUTCOME RESULTS, THEY WILL NOT ADDRESS THE ISSUE YET THEY WILL BLAME IT ON YOU! SAVE YOUR MONEY DON’T TRUST THEM AND GET A PROFESSIONAL NUTRITIONIST OR MEDICAL DOCTOR TO FOLLOW UP ON YOU. -THEY SAID I WAS PART OF A MINORITY TO HAVE A BAD OUTCOME, YET THIS DID NOT STOP THEM FROM GETTING FULLY PAID! IF YOU ARE PART OF THE MINORITY OF PEOPLE GETTING BAD RESULTS AFTER 2 WEEKS STARVATION, YOU WILL HAVE TO GET BACK HOME WITH YOUR HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT YOU ALSO HAD TO PAY FOR. WHAT A HORRIBLE PLACE TO GO TO.... SO DISAPPOINTING. FOR ME IT WAS: PAYING MONEY TO BUY HEALTH PROBLEMS!
